Sunday NSU ODU FCA Leadership Meeting

Thank you for everyone that came out to the Leadership meeting last night at ODU. Wow, it was a great night of ministry. God spoke to our hearts about where we are with HIM and what we should do about it. God poured into us so we can pour into others tonight and tomorrow as we have our FCA Huddles.
Thank you God for brothers and sisters in Christ who encourage and pray for each other.  Blessings.

Thank God for Sunday.......

Just when I thought our REST day had come...... we're off to a Women's Field Hockey game..... Well at least one of us...... Mic had a chance to take a High School Coach with him for some good'ol guy bonding time... While I stayed in from the cold and wind and ....... chilled. Guess that means our sabbath is tomorrow. :) Hope you all had a restful day, recharging, refilling for the next week.

Serving Christ Through Sports !!!! Saturday, October 29, 2011

Saturday was a great day of fun and ministry. Mic and I went to the ODU JMU Football game.  Wow... was it cold.... rainy.... and windy... but, we had a ball.  It was so great to go and support several football players that come to the ODU FCA ministry.  (Thanks Perry Owens #65 for the tickets)  It was a close game but ODU came out in Victory.  Afterwards, we headed over to the Ted Constance Center and watched the ODU Men and Women Basketball teams play a Blue and White Intersquad scrimmage. It was fun to watch the students who we see at our meetings go and play their sport.  What a long day (8 hours) but fun was had by all. :)

Thursday.....October 27, 2011 FCA Coaches Ministry

What a great day for FCA Coaches Ministry. God has opened many doors lately for Mickey to be able to talk and go to lunch with several College and High School Coaches. It's been a great time of mentoring and growth in God's WORD.  Mickey and I are so grateful  that God has allowed this to be a busy ministry season for us. It is always wonderful to be able to do God's work by encouraging other Believers in Christ.  Thank you for your prayers and support as we minister to others and deepen our own walk with Christ.

WHAT'S UP WEDNESDAY !!!! CHURCH NIGHT :)

Hi Everyone !!!! It's Wednesday... Church Night. Do you have a place to go to church tonite? I find that going to church mid week is a big help. Hope you have a wonderful rest of the week.

Tuesday at 2:30 in Suffolk? It's Kings Fork High School FCA :)

A special THANK YOU goes to Kenny Johnson our FCA parent volunteer of the year!!! Kenny leads the Kings Fork High School FCA in Suffolk, VA. Kenny has been and still is a strong leader for FCA in Suffolk. In the last year Kings Fork attendance has gone from 7 to 67 !!!! WOW. God has poured out BLESSINGS onto Kings Fork FCA. The student athletes have really stepped up here... They are making a difference... Thank you athletic teams for taking the challenge and sharing your faith with your fellow teammates... :)

TERRIFIC TUESDAY...NORFOLK STATE UNIVERSITY FCA NIGHT!!!

You know what tonight is? Yep, another FCA huddle. Tonight is NSU FCA. Once again we are blessed with great FCA leaders. Cameron Day will be leading the study tonight.  He is solid and dependable. We are so thankful to have him. God is using him greatly. Thank you Cam for your service to HIM.(Cam is on the left)

MONDAY NIGHT ODU FCA

Thank you everyone who has been supporting us through FCA. Monday night is our ODU FCA huddle meeting. ODU has been such a pleasant surprise. The students at ODU have really stepped up and taken ownership of their group. From their funny and embarrassing at times ice breakers to their wonderful homemade cookies; this group of student athletes are special. On sunday night we have a leadership meeting in which the leaders get together and have a bible study and go over what they are going to talk about on monday night. Such wonderful things have been happening in the hearts of these people. Thank you again for your kindness and support. Your support will buy bibles for these students and enable us to continue to teach them about CHRIST. Blessings.....
